Dr. Sophie Strome

If you had asked Sophie in first grade what she is going to be when she grows up, she would proudly answer, Veterinarian!

Sophie has always had a passion for animal health. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Brown University. During her time at Brown, she played varsity sports, studied the echolocation of bats, and rowed gondolas.

Sophie received her DVM from Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. She specifically focused on learning companion animal medicine. Sophie also has a passion for pharmaceutical development and spends her free time working on pharmaceutical research.

Sophie currently has 2 adorable cats and a new puppy named Goose! Pigs are her favorite animal, and her dream is to add a few pet pigs into the mix!
